Latrobe Community Health Service (LCHS) is committed to promoting the safety and well-being of all children and young people accessing our services. LCHS:
- has zero tolerance for child abuse;
- actively works to listen to and empower children;
- has systems to protect children from abuse, and will take all allegations and concerns very seriously and responds to them consistently in line with the LCHS policies and procedures; and
- is committed to promoting cultural safety for First Nations children, children who identify as LGBTIQA+, as well as children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, and to providing a safe environment for children with a developmental delay and disability.
